Joseph Yager - Principal
Joseph Yager graduated from University of Texas in Austin in 2004 with Finance & Mathematics degrees. He worked briefly out of college for Goldman Sachs doing private wealth management but decided to pursue a career in real estate shortly thereafter. He began a small company in 2005 with 3 agents and grew Uptown Realty into the market leader in campus real estate. He then founded Active Property Management & MR+D in 2006 to supplement his growing business.
Autumn Leal - Property Supervisor
Autumn Leal moved to Austin in 2003 to attend Texas State University. She obtained her real estate license in 2008 and began working with Uptown Realty. As a dedicated and driven professional, she made a smooth transition into property management in July 2009. Her high-spirited, ambitious perspective allows her to be a natural at customer service; therefore, she successfully administers all activities relating to leasing and resident relations. She interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum customer satisfaction, to ensure contractual compliance, and to promote resident retention. Per Fair Housing regulations, Autumn equally qualifies all applicants and prepares all lease-related documentation. Not only does she support our valued residents, but she also provides directorial support in the maintenance and accounting departments. Autumn is a true team player with an enthusiastic approach in all her endeavors.
Christine Rishebarger - Accountant
Christine Rishebarger has been working in the accounting field since 2003, and was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 2006 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Her experience includes audits, tax accounting, corporate accounting, and client services. She has been with Active Property Management since March 2008, providing our clients with detailed accounting statements. In addition to these comprehensive reports, she provides strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills. Her excellent analytical abilities provide our clients with a thorough understanding of their investment property accounts.
Jarod Poteet - Maintenance Supervisor
Jarod Poteet moved to Austin in early 2009 after graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Project Management. In September of 2009, Jarod joined Active Property Management's maintenance department, MR+D, and has implemented his many talents as the Maintenance Supervisor. Jarod's thorough interaction with residents and property owners ensures a high quality of service unmatched amongst competitors. His proactive, hands-on approach enables him to provide efficient and superior maintenance service. With great emphasis on customer satisfaction, he takes pride in his work and boasts a talented maintenance crew that will exceed expectations with every service call. Whether your needs include preventative maintenance, renovation, landscaping, or another type of home improvement undertaking, Jarod is eager to support your goals while upholding the value of your assets.
Demecio Coj - Lead Maintenance Technician
Demecio Coj has been working as a Lead Maintenance Technician since 1997, and has been with Active Property Management since 2007. He has earned an EPA certification as well as a certification in HVAC systems from Houston Community College. He is also bilingual thus enabling him to communicate with residents on a larger scale. He approaches all projects with a sense of ownership and gives great attention to detail. His work performance is unfaltering and his dedication to each individual task is highly commendable.
